We often find that our customers frequently wish to combine their Azure AD with their helpdesk solution. In order to import and maintain synchronisation of your users from Azure, ServiceDesk Plus Cloud supports connectivity with Azure AD.
Authenticate your account in ServiceDesk Plus Cloud.
To get this started, all you need to do is enable the setting in ServiceDesk Plus integrations.

Once you’ve enabled it, you will need to login using your Azure credentials.
Once you’re authenticated can simply import your users and their departments and sites into your

Note: You will need to be an Azure Admin and have the SDAdmin role for the integration to work.
How often does it sync users across to ServiceDesk Plus Cloud?
The simple answer to this is whenever you like. You will need to enable the integration to allow the sync to happen.

Enable that setting and you will have the choice of what user data gets synced over and how frequently it syncs.

You can even import users based on criteria. For example, you may only want to import users of a certain department.
A couple of things to note
If you don’t have a verified domain set up or your users have a Zoho account, they will receive an invitation email. If you don’t want to ServiceDesk Plus Cloud to send an email out to all the users, then verify your domain first before you start the sync.
Secondly, there is a 1000 user limit, if you’re importing more than that contact us and we can look at getting the user limit extended.
